Manchester’s Walking With the Wounded helps veterans to find homes and jobs

  • Walking With the Wounded have been helping veterans find jobs and get mental health support since Prince William opened the charity two years ago

With members of the armed forces coming home with PTSD and struggling to find homes or work, Walking with the Wounded provides a pathway for vulnerable veterans to re-integrate back into society.

Everyone knows that the number of homeless in the city is increasing. Nobody deserves to be homeless, especially the people who have served in the forces. Gary Lamb, associate director of walking with the wounded helps to get support for veterans with mental health problems and guides them back into work.
