Super League fixtures for the 2025 season released with Old Trafford date set

The Super League has released next season’s fixtures for all teams in the competition.
Wigan Warriors, Leigh Leopards and Salford Red Devils are three greater Manchester teams who will be competing.
The season will see regular Thursday night rugby return, the return of the magic weekend to St James’ park in Newcastle , as well as a trip to Las Vegas where Wigan will play Warrington as the sport tries to reach an American audience.
Rhodri Jones, managing director of Rugby League Commercial, said: โWe have worked closely with the Betfred Super League clubs and our broadcast partners to produce a better spread of matches across each weekend in 2025.”
Opening round
The first round of fixtures will kick off with the battle of the borough as Wigan host Leigh on the opening night.
Salford have a trip to St Helens on the Saturday evening and both matches will be on TV with Wigan vs Leigh on Sky Sports and Salford’s game which will be on the BBC as well as Sky Sports.
Other Key Dates
The Las Vegas trip for Wigan fans will be on the 1 March with the fans who can’t go being able to watch from home on Sky Sports. The match will kick off at 9.30pm in the UK.
The Rivals Round return this season as well with games being played over the Easter weekend as round eight of the super league. This takes place on 17-19 April.
Wigan play St Helens on Good Friday while Leigh and Salford play on the Saturday with Leigh hosting Warrington and Salford having the trip to Catalans.
Magic Weekend will be held on 3-4 May with Salford and Leigh playing on Saturday against Hull KR and Catalans Dragons respectively. Wigan will play on the Sunday against Warrington.
The season will finish in the usual style with a trip to Old Trafford for the Grand Final on 11 October.
