Whalley Range Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club has opened as one of the region’s first Covid-19 vaccination centres.

The centre is being managed by local pharmacy group Kapoor Pharmacy Services (KPS), which runs two chemists in Whalley Range and Chorlton and one in Rochdale.

KPS boss Aneet Kapoor spoke to the Northern Quota about setting up the centre which has the capacity to administer around 2,000 jabs per week, increasing to 3,500 per week once fully established and supply increased.
