Clarification: Peter’s Bakery in Fallowfield

The Northern Quota published a story about Peter’s Bakery in Fallowfield reopening as The Bread Pitt.

We have been asked by the previous owner of Peter’s Bakery, Mrs Shirley Ryder, to point out that the bakery was in fact founded in 1961 as a family business by her late husband’s father.

Peter’s Bakery was run by Mrs Ryder and her husband until he died unexpectedly in 2019. The business was subsequently sold in 2022. Peter’s Homemade Bakery has no connection with the Bread Pitt.
