A charity in Ancoats is helping people in recovery and rehabilitation get back on their feet through catering projects.
The Launchpad programme at Back on Track Manchester aims to teach and train people in vulnerable situations and find them employment through training in catering and admin.
Research by Greater Manchester’s Health and Social Care revealed that adults who were unemployed or inactive are significantly more at risk from mental illnesses lasting over a year.
