The organisers of the Manchester International Tattoo Show are preparing to celebrate their 15th annual event in the city this October.

The International Tattoo Show has become one of the most established tattoo events in the UK, attracting more than 8,000 visitors at the 2015 event. With strong advance ticket sales, the organisers are looking forward to showcasing what the industry has to offer at Manchester Central from 29–30 October.

200 leading artists from France, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Israel, Spain, Greece, Germany and, of course, from all over the UK, will be in attendance.

The weekend will celebrate creativity within the art community, and there will be several exhibitions including a showcase of illustrated pizza boxes in conjunction with Manchester's own Crazy Pedro’s Pizza.

The organisers have told us that some of the UK’s highly skilled body piercers and body modification experts will be offering one-to-one advice and appointments. For those seeking something less permanent, there will be a Mehndi Henna artist salon.

For families with younger children, there will be professional children’s face painters and entertainers to keep them pre-occupied, while award-winning body painters will showcase their talents on live models.

With over 5,000sqm of Manchester Central being used, the Manchester International Tattoo Festival is one of the most significant dates in the tattoo calendar.

Shelley Bond, Event Director, commented: “We’re delighted to be celebrating the 15th year of the Manchester International Tattoo Show. This well-loved event always attracts the very best artists in the business and visitors with anything from a passing to a passionate interest in tattoos.

“We have a fantastic schedule of entertainment lined up throughout the weekend and are proud to be providing an opportunity for talented Manchester bands and artists to perform before an international audience.”

Day passes for the Manchester International Tattoo Show are priced at £25 and weekend passes cost just £30.
