Chorlton Bookshop talks cost a living crisis

The Chorlton bookshop has been around for 40 years, it first opened in 1983 by Victoria and her parents so Victoria has run it since the age of 18

Joanne tells NQ that there are a variety of books on the shelves such as non fiction books, politics and children’s books.

Joanne says it’s definitely having an impact as they have more quieter days. They are seeing prices of books has gone up because of the printing prices it used to be £8.99 for a book but now it is £9.99 it’s she also stated that it does affects people
