Man Met students encourage sustainable living with Pop Swap

  • Pop Swap at MMU encourages people to donate their old items and swap it for something else

Many people turned up at MMU today to bring in all sorts of items for the termly pop-swap, encouraging people to bring in unwanted clothing and books so as to reduce waste.

People brought in items to swap them for something else they like on display.

The pop-swap started in 2013 and is run in collaboration with the Environment team and Student Sustainability Ambassadors.

Any unwanted items are donated to local charities and the homeless community in Manchester.
