Students urged to get involved with Foundations Festival 2018
Student volunteers are being invited to get involved with this year's Foundations Festival.
Emily Oldfield, the co-curator of the festival, is looking for a small group of students from MMU to help with the running of the arts festival.
It takes place on 14-15 December at AATMA and the Peer Hat in the Northern Quarter in Manchester.
The festival, which was created in 2016, is a two-day event celebrating grassroots live music, creative collaboration, community networking and multimedia art/film and performance.
Foundations describes itself as being about how to "re-imagine a conventional music festival as a more collaborative and immersive experience".
Involved are punk rock afficionado John Robb, creator of AnalogueTrash record label, Adrian Thompson, and David Fox of Manchester International Festival.
Emily Oldfield will be coming into MMU tomorrow to talk to students who would like to volunteer, but to otherwise register your interest you should email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell them a little bit about yourself.
